Moneta Today app test version released

The development team is delighted to announce that on November 6th, 2021, it released the test version of the Moneta Today application for Android devices.

The application is connected to the testnet of Moneta Today and is designed exclusively for testing the functionality that will be provided to users, including coin transfers, balance displays, and transaction history browsing.

All tests have so far been carried out in-house, but the team is now expanding the number of users participating in the testing procedures. Anyone willing to participate in testing is welcome to contact develop@moneta.today to receive a test build of the application and a balance of test coins for conducting transfers.

Particular attention should be paid to the total supply since this is the number of coins available in the system. It decreases after each transaction because 50% of the fees are burned. This corresponds to the burn strategy, which is intended for reducing the overall amount of coins available.

The team would also like to emphasize the fact that the test coins have no real, market, or intrinsic value and cannot be used within the services being deployed inside the Moneta Today ecosystem.

Releases of applications on iOS are traditionally a more complicated undertaking, especially from a legal point of view. At the moment, the team is working on the iOS version and will announce its release later.
