Moneta Today ecosystem: summary of 2021

There is very little time left until the New Year! Our team is going to work up to December 31st, but you might be planning a New Year’s trip, so we decided to sum it all up a bit earlier.

So what has Moneta Today achieved in less than one year?

We are summing up:

1. 2021 is our company’s birthday. It was in April 2021 that the first release of our application was made. It came on the Android platform. At that stage, the colour scheme and the style of our application were created — coffee tints and warm hues became our basic brand colours;

2. Within 8 months the project team has grown to 15 people. Among them are front-end/back-end/mobile/unity/blockchain developers, designers, project managers, lawyers, testers, game designers, marketing managers, HR managers. We know which direction the market is developing today, so we are permanently searching for high-level specialists;

3. The Moneta Coin test network has been developed and launched. We have been testing this network for a month and a half to possibly find any problems and vulnerabilities to ensure maximum security for our users after the release. We have been simulating all kinds of scenarios for burning coins, wallet-to-wallet transactions, opportunities for staking and network updates. This project is publicly available; we invite developers to send us pull requests to contribute to the product perfection;

4. Moneta Coin is officially listed on slip44. This is a digital registry of cryptocurrencies. Any solid project that is going to deal with popular wallets and outside resources has to be included in this registry. Moneta Coin got the number 707 and the short name MCOIN;

5. Our mobile application has changed greatly over the last 8 months, and now it has a variety of useful functions. It already allows you to interact with the Moneta Coin test network. We are about to switch it to the main network, which will mean the official launch of our first blockchain. A lot of work has been planned ahead to interact with the ecosystem’s blockchain services and some external blockchain projects. So, the Moneta Today application will become a handy tool for its users;

6. Within our company we have taken care of legal matters. Should we consider it as an achievement? The market is developing dynamically, so some other teams tend to ignore such issues. We are focused on the long-term strategy of development and partnership, so we have been paying careful attention to legalizing and registering copyright and intellectual rights, concluding official agreements with partners and investors. The current legal ground for blockchain is changing rapidly; different countries are introducing new bans and permits. Our expertise in this area is constantly rising;

7. We are actively involved in creating the first service in the ecosystem, a blockchain game of a new format— HoneyWood. The game’s legend, game mechanics, design document, blockchain architecture and the game engine have already been created, and the first graphic materials are already underway. Numerous team members are working on the project, and we are about to start the active phase of the project’s collaboration with the market. We have developed a system of benefits for Moneta Coin holders;

8. We have developed a technical and economic model for the Moneta Today ecosystem. The optimal technical and economic tools have been selected; perspectives and potential risks have been considered. The connections of services within the ecosystem will be provided at the technical, economic and information levels. In other words, we are among those few who truly confirm our status as a cross-chain ecosystem;

9. We have developed many presentation materials. Some of them are underway, and we are going to share them soon. A lot of conceptual and graphic work has been done. Each new slide has resulted in various sorts of tasks for us, from graphic to technical ones. While thinking over how to convey the idea to people, we have been working on the idea itself and the product;

10. The first investment has been received. We are grateful indeed to those who trusted in us at the idea stage, and every day we’re working hard to boost the ecosystem’s capitalization;

11. A cashback program has been developed, and it is going to be introduced in different cities around the world. It is going to be based on Moneta Coin and will not be separated by state borders. Agreements have already been reached with various businesses. MCOIN holders are about to have some extra opportunities in various sectors of the economy;

12. The ecosystem’s roadmap has been shaped; it includes technical, economic and product development. Smart contracts, cross-chain bridges, the launch of blockchain products — we are constantly working on updating it.

We have highlighted the most significant achievements over the year. The basis of the company has been formed. Certain results will be evident only in the long term; however, this has been our investment into the project’s great future.
